Do you serve a snack?

Yes. At 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Do the children take naps?

A:

Yes. On napping mats that are stored separately and
disinfected weekly. You supply the pillow and blanket.

Do you potty train?

Yes we do. Diapers and pull ups are supplied by the parents and
reminded when we need wipes and tissues.

Are the children allowed to bring sippie cups and their pacifier?

Both are discouraged due to the spread of germs. They may begin
with their pacifiers at nap time until they are comfortable here.

Can they bring a toy from home?

No. We will never find what belongs to you at the end of the
day. We have all they need.

Is the staff CPR and First Aide certified?

Yes! There are 2 teachers present at all times that are certified.

Do I pay for child care when my child is sick?

Yes. Tuition is a commitment in order to have your child
enrolled in the center. Two weeks notice of withdrawal is
required to receive credit on your deposit.

Do you provide an age appropriate curriculum?

Yes. The curriculum is based on children's interests and
development. We are currently seeking validation through
the Maryland Department of Education. Lessons include a
range of activities for children to grow in music, science,
social skills and kindergarten readiness.

What are the educational backgrounds of the teachers?
|
|
A:
|
Most of our teachers have a bachelor's degree or an A.A.
degree. All of our lead teachers have child care certification
through courses taken at the community college level. The
director, Dawn, has a bachelor's in Early Childhood and is
currently seeking her Masters.
