Programs

Each of our programs are based on 5 fundamental principles:

Positive interactions and relationships
Social‐emotional competence
Constructive, purposeful play
The Physical environment
Teacher‐family partnerships

The Creative Curriculum provides learning opportunities for children birth to 6 years old. Every child receives an early education no matter what their age. Lessons are based on the children’s interests and the objectives presented in the curriculum. Conferences are provided throughout the year to discuss each child’s progress.

Infant Program (ages 6 weeks – 18 months)

Children feel safe and emotionally secure and have a sense of belonging through appropriate planning. Our caregivers accommodate each baby’s needs while maintaining a nurturing relationship with each child. Schedules and routines established by the parents at home are followed through while at the center. Caregivers and parents work together to make sure every baby has a positive first step.

Toddler Two Program (18 months – 36 months)

A nurturing relationship between teachers and children is maintained throughout the toddler two years. Safe, developmentally appropriate learning experiences are presented each day. Teachers set limits and guide learning toward realistic expectations; we move with the children. Children are offered opportunities to play indoors and outdoors, explore and discover a variety of materials, practice eye hand coordination with a variety of activities and practice language skills through reading, singing and dancing.

3 to 4 year old Program

Three to four year olds have opportunities throughout the day to play in small groups, join in gross motor activities, enhance language and literacy development and apply the new information to their daily routines. More than anything else, their expanded ability to express themselves and their ability to socialize sets them apart from two year olds.

4 to 5 year old program

Kindergarten readiness is directly related to student success. Preschoolers have daily opportunities in memory development, symbolic thinking, positive approaches to learning, positive social skills, language and literacy skills and math skills. They approach the world with great curiosity and use their experiences to understand it.

Before and After Care / Summer Camp

Children who have completed kindergarten up to the 5th grade spend the 9 weeks of summer travelling to various places and participating in lots of activities here at the center. The children are encouraged to form positive friendships, express their individuality and do their part to be productive young people.

We provide before and after school care to our district elementary school including days when school is closed. Children can begin at 6 weeks in the infant room and not leave until after 5th grade!
